The alternative was me losing my mind and my toddler watching too much Nick Jr.
This isn't perfect, but it's a start, and it gave me a plan! (I LOVE plans!) I wanted to keep it super simple.
The first lesson is a very simple plan created for two to three year olds. It can last two days or two months--whatever works best for your schedule!
While my toddler knows most of her alphabet, all of her shapes and colors, and most of her numbers, this is a great way to start from the beginning and build a strong foundation for future academic success.
Learning Concepts:
ABC
123
Red, Blue, Yellow
Circle, Line, Star
Apple, Bee, Caterpillar, Ladybug
Snacks:
Apples
Bananas
Blueberries
Free Printable Activities:
Be sure to print {in color} my free printable tot pack! Laminate or insert sheets in plastic page protectors to use with dry erase markers! For the flashcards and memory game, consider printing on cardstock or laminating. Find a printable learning checklist on the last page!
Be sure to bring out your red, blue, and yellow craft supplies!
Project 1:
I created this 1, 2, 3 activity with an envelope, craft pom-poms, and dixie cups. You can store the pom-poms easily. I painted the inside bottoms of the dixie cups with craft paint. After it's dry, this makes an easy busy bag or tot tray idea. My toddler loved it!

This is so awesome! Thanks for sharing all your hard work. In a few months this will be perfect for my daughter.I'm so excited to do it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great plan!! My son is now 13 years old. I wish I would have done this when he was a toddler.
